"Hi everyone and Merry Christmas! I'm so glad you've come by the Stuff to Scrap blog for today's Countdown to Christmas! I love the colors of this year's Countdown 'cause they can work on anything from Christmas, to New Year's, to general winter, and all the way up through Valentine's Day! Soooo excited to get all the neat parts over the next three weeks. I've seen several of them and they are a.maze.ing!
You know what? Today's my birthday, so I decided to go a little crazy and make a whole kit to share with you. :) Plus, tonight I've got a speed scrap over in the forum, so come join us for some pre-holiday scrapping fun.
I have so many great memories of Christmas time and since my birthday is right here at the beginning of the holiday season, it seems like it's just one big celebration after another! Yay! When I was a kid I loved going with my family to cut down the tree and I got a special ornament as a birthday gift every year, so now that I'm grown, my tree is filled with both birthday and Christmas memories! We put the tree up last week and just the glow of the lights makes my heart smile. My oldest knows the Christmas story well and I'm excited to read it to my youngest for the first time this year. We're a military family, so Christmas time also means time to visit "home-home" and see all our extended family; it's usually a two week long, fun-filled trip that I look forward to each year. I hope my boys grow up with as many special memories of family and giving as I was able to have.
I hope too that each of you have a wonderful and blessed December and is looking forward to the year ahead of us!"
