Inspire Me

Ready for some weekend fun? I'm sure everyone has lots of stuff to do this weekend but don't forget to get outside & enjoy the fall weather, winter is coming up fast. We're starting a new feature over on the Designer Blog, each week there will be an interview with a different Stuff to Scrap Designer so you all can learn a little bit about them. This week we're interviewing Tracy of Growing Pains Scrapped, go check it out!

If you've got nasty weather this weekend, hopefully these layouts will inspire you to get some scrapping done; as always the layouts are linked to the gallery so you can leave some love.

Nook Color Wallpaper | Manda Lane
I just love finding hybrid projects in the gallery & this submission from Amanda for the August Hybrid Challenge was just too cool. That month you had to scrap a new wallpaper for your electronic device; since Amanda has a color Nook she made this cool wallpaper with her kit Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The slanty paper adds the right amount of danger to go along with the little dude's cool picture Love how Amanda has included the dimensions for anyone wanting to make their own Nook wallpaper.

Jeep Ride | Junfunkie
I love finding layout that I want to scraplift & this next layout by Laura is getting added to my scraplift file. It's so clean & blocky which appeals to the neat freak in me. Love how things are centered with the ribbons providing a divider from the journaling & picture sides of the layout. Plus that's a great picture of the Jeep, I can never seem to get good forced perspective shots like that. If you like the look of this layout, Laura used the new kit Vroom Vroom Vroom by Mommy Made This.

Mostest | Purplesparkly
A good extraction will always make for an eye catching layout & I was impressed with the extraction JJ did with this layout. I love how funky the layout is, I'm always a little hesitant to used the papers & elements like this. The extraction is great & I love how part of her daughter's arm is showing through the frame around the smaller picture. Plus check out the shadows on the extracted picture, just perfect! This funky layout was made using the kit Flutter By by Mom2Moo Designs.

Pumpkin Carving | Allielli
I had to include a pumpkin carving layout, after all we need to start getting ideas for how to carve our pumpkin! All the cute elements that Allielli used really make this layout so much fun & she's chosen a great sequence of pictures from the start of carving to the finished product. To get this fun elements, pick up the kit A Sweet Halloween by Queen Bee Scraps.

Lake Time! | Mam07
Stacking frames can be a challenge at times but I love what Mam07 has done, she's used the larger frame for all the pictures & then the smaller one to highlight just one picture. She's put the elements to good use by only putting a few on & then having the journaling follow the ribbon. This layout was made with the funky kit Skate Party by Flower Scraps.

Trick or Treat | lwyant
Finally, here's a fun trick or treating layout by Lauren. It's a great example of how to use a really big picture & still get in your journaling & elements. I love that that Lauren's included the two smaller pictures at the bottom & the subtle, yet glittery, title. Such a fun layout & you'll want to check out the This Little Missy blog for a quick page made from this layout; Lauren used the new kit Goulish Glam for this fun layout.

'Tis all for this week! Head on over to last week's thread, the Gallery, & the Stuff to Scrap Inspiration Blog to see what else our forum members have been up to & leave some love on your favorites. If you happen to see a layout that you would like to see featured on the blog, post it in this week's thread; I want to know what inspires you!
