New Relese Friday

Welcome to the "new" Stuff to Scrap blog! I say "new" because while the address has remained the same, the blog has a brand new look & will now feature regular, weekly posts that cover a variety of fun stuff including freebies, tutorials, layouts by forum members, & more. As the new Dedicated Blogger *in case you're wondering, I'm Stephanie AKA helptheold in the forum, hi there!* I'm very honored that Nicole has trusted me with this task & I hope that everyone enjoys what we have planned for your scrapping pleasure.

I'm going to start off this adventure with new releases for the week. Instead of having new releases spread throughout the week, we'll be showcasing them all on Fridays. Be sure to read through the post carefully, most of the designers have freebies and/or coupon codes available on their blog or hiding in the store for you to snag!

First up, Rainamoon Scraps has a lovely princess kit called, 3 Wishes, which should satisfy all the fantasy needs of the little princesses in your life. And all the parts are 50% off right now! If you take side trip over to Colleen's blog, there's a little freebie waiting for you. Plus there *cough* might just be *hint* a sale going on until August 31 in Colleen's store so don't forget to check out the rest of her products.

Growing Pains Scrapped has released a fun new kit called, Picture Perfect, that could be used for just about any type of picture with its' red, black, gray & white color palette. I could see this being used for wedding pictures or sports team photos, it is very versatile.

But here's the awesome catch: Picture Perfect will be the prize for Tracy's turn at hosting the Featured Designer Challenge the week of August 29 to September 4; in addition, the coordinating cardstock/glitter paper pack will be the participation prize for the speed scrap that Tracy's hosting on Monday August 29!

If you can't make the speed scrap or will be out of town the week of the challenge, you can pick up the kit in the store right now for your scrapping pleasure.

Do you love templates? I know I do & 3 Li'l Monsters Designs is releasing an August Template Grab Bag that features ... get this ... 8 12x12 templates, 2 double page templates, 2 stacked paper templates, & 2 cluster templates! This great grab bag will only be available for a short time at the amazing price of $3.00 so hurry up & get it! Plus all the rest of Amy's templates are on sale for a limited time so you need to do some serious shopping.

No time to scrap with the start of school? Then pick up Scrapteam2008's Family News bragbooks for $2.00 this week. These bragbook pages would make a great gift for a teacher & Hannah's offering a front & back cover for this set as a freebie on her blog so you can make a complete book.

If you're looking for a kit to scrap all those old pictures lying around, MDK Scraps' new kit, Remember When, is just what you need. Such a lovely color palette with some adorable elements. Michele has two cute freebies on her blog for you so go pick them up & then snag the kit while it's only $2.00!

Summer always means lots of picnics & Family Picnic by Digi-designs by Nicole will help you get all those wonderful pictures scrapped. This is a huge kit with tons of great elements! You can pick up the kit & add ons for 30% off or get everything as a bundle (also 30% off!) for even greater savings. It's my understanding that there just might be some coupon codes on Nicole's blog along with some great freebies to snag.

For many kids, school is already in session so you'll want to pick up Back 2 School by Scraps by Andrea to get all those first day pictures scrapped. Those patterned papers look super cute & there's even a cardstock set & a set of school paper templates to pick up. You will want to check out this kit in the store, there just might be a little add-on freebie *hint* look near the bottom! waiting for you.

If one school kit is not enough, Lovely Creations is releasing Preschooler, for all those little ones starting school. Besides the kit there is a set of adorable word art to snag. And if you're pressed for time like most parents on the first day of school, head over to Christin's blog for a brag book freebie & links to a few *more like a lot!* more freebies.

If you're into sewing or have a little one who totally loves fashion, the Scrapteam2008's new kit, My Own Fashion, will be right up your alley. This is really making me wish I had a little girl as Hannah's put together some wonderful add-ons for this kit including a set of stacked papers & cluster frames. Even better, there's a free add-on in the store, check it out!

Jensen Motley Crew Designs has released a beautiful kit called Lily Bell that is dedicated to her mother. I just love the vintage feel & soft color scheme. The kit comes with a free alpha & a set of free cardstocks; it's on sale for 40% for a limited time.

For all those huge volleyball fans out there (& I know you're out there, I can hear you cheering for your team!), Scraps 'N Pieces has released Pass, Set, Kill! Such a fun looking kit & even better you can use the code SNPpskCSfree to pick up the worn papers for free with the purchase of the kit. Check out Lori & Heidi's blog for some great freebies to go along with the kit.

B2N2 Scraps & Gettin' Scrappy with Britt have teamed up to create the huge kit, Dress Up Time. Trust me, I worked with this kit & it is great for those pictures of your kids (young & old) dressing up; it'll also work great for your upcoming Halloween pictures. The kit, paper pack add on, & quick page set will be on sale for 35% for the next week only. Be sure to check out both Becky & Britt's blogs for some freebies! *Please note that the kit is the same if purchased from either store.*

That's all for today, come back tomorrow to check out our next new feature!
