October Layout of the Month

Near the each of each month, a new thread will pop up in which you can submit a nomination for the Layout of the Month. This is a great way to bring attention to a fantastic layout as well as earning a free kit for the layout creator if her layout wins! The rules are very simple, any layout can be nominated [with the exception of layouts made by STS designers] & the layout has to have been uploaded during the current month. I'm always eager to see what's been nominated, often I'll see layouts pop up that I never noticed before; it's a great way to get inspiration for your own layouts. I was very excited to see this month's winner, it's Spooky Socks by JJ (AKA purplesparkly)! The blending is perfect as is the selective coloring. Love how the blending on the larger photo makes the color of the socks a little more muted than in the smaller photo. And all that great color around the smaller photo just makes the whole layout pop!
