Inspire Me

Gonna be an indoor weekend here but since we've been to ... um ... counts on fingers & toes ... five different pumpkin farms over the past two weeks, I've got lots of scrapping to do! To help all of us out with some ideas for layouts, here are some of the lovelies that I've spotted in the gallery this week.

Don't forget to check out the Stuff to Scrap Designer blog for a new interview, this week we're going to meet Jodi Jensen of Jensen Motley Crew Designs!

Texas 2011 | Dannethia
I am totally in love with the new kit, Packing My Bags by Adriana's Cafe & this layout by Dannethia caught my eye. The clustering is amazing with all the different road trip elements, love that little car brad. Dannethia's idea to stack the papers & then do a stop sign cutout in the top paper is totally neat, gonna have to scraplift this layout sometime soon!

Haircut - Before and After | Angelclaud
I love seeing all the layout from our members that are in different countries, member Angelclaud is from Indonesia which is why she uses rupiahs as her currency. In case you're wondering Rp. 100,000 is about $11 USD & Rp. 60,000 is about $7 USD. I have to agree with Angelclaud that there's not much difference in the haircut & that spending less is always better! Love the before & after pictures with the arrow between them; she used the new kit Spiffed Up by Scraps of Ellay.

Such a Treat | Thotim
Naturally, there are a lot of Halloween kits & layouts popping up on the forum & I am so hungry after seeing the cupcake tower that Thao has scrapped in this layout. Don't those two little ones look so impatient to attack all the cupcakes? I'm impressed Thao got them to sit still for the picture! As always, Thao's clustering is amazing & I love the little cluster in the top left corner; Thao used the October Build A Kit Sweet Treats by Designs by Christi.

Corn Maze | Kellyh
So I'm a sucker for cute animal elements & I love that Kelly has included that cute owl from the new kit, Wonderful Fall by Lovely Creations in her layout. The scalloped borders are so neat & the flowers give the layout just the right pop of color behind the frame. Of course I'm also impressed by the people in the corn maze, personally I'm always freaked about going in one of those that I'll get lost & never come out!

New Camera | Tomosia
I'm always on the look out for clean, simple layouts & this one by Shauna fits my requirements perfectly! Love the clustering which includes a lot of elements without looking too busy along with the paper & ribbon stacking behind the picture. Such a great use of white space! Shauna used the kit Down and Dirty by Designs by Ashlee.

Social Butterfly | aTimeforScraping
Lastly, we have this lovely layout by Barb using Summer Sunshine by Mommy Me Time Scrapper. I am in love with the bright, patterned papers against the white background; the waves Barb cut out make this even cooler. Plus that word art with the picture of the little one? Perfect!

'Tis all for this week! Head on over to last week's thread, the Gallery, & the Stuff to Scrap Inspiration Blog to see what else our forum members have been up to & leave some love on your favorites. If you happen to see a layout that you would like to see featured on the blog, post it in this week's thread; I want to know what inspires you!
