Today, I'll be showcasing just a few of our 20 challenges, a few next week, a few the week after, & so forth & so on. I've also included some of the layout already done for the challenges, all the previews are linked so you can leave love.
Remember that you'll earn points for almost all of the challenges & when you reach 500 points, you'll receive a $5.00 gift card to the Stuff to Scrap store to purchase anything that catches your fancy. Points roll over from month to moth & do not expire! Please remember that to earn any extra bonus points, you must state in your challenge post that you've used 90% or more current STS products or you will not earn the bonus points. You are most welcome to make a post in the September Challenge Round-up thread to keep track of all the challenges & points you've earned.
First up is the Facebook Challenge but I'm going to make you work for this one *aren't I a sinker?* so you'll have to go to the Stuff to Scrap Facebook page & look under the Discussions tab for the instructions. You can earn 5 points for this challenge & if you use 90% or more of any current STS products you'll earn an extra 5 points. There's been two submissions so far this month, on the left we have Advice by Pisgah13 who used Moments Matter by Jensen Motley Crew Designs; on the right is 10K by Denise who used I Will Lose by Adriana's Cafe.
Next up is the Scrap What? Challenge; this month we are challenged to scrap our best/favorite summer memories! For this challenge you can earn 10 points plus an extra 5 points if you use 90% or more of any current STS products. I have two very different layouts to show off for this challenge, on the left is Toes by Tracy using Alayna by Growing Pains Scrapped *coming September 12!*; on the right is Hope Beach by Brooke using Surf's Up by Scraps N Pieces & The Scrappy Kat.
The Calendar Challenge is a bit different from all the other challenges as the goal of this challenge is to work on a page for the upcoming year's calendar. It doesn't matter what month you complete, as long as you get one page done & your calendar can be either digital or hybrid. While there are no points attached to this challenge, if you've completed all the months, you'll be entered into a drawing to win a $5.00 gift card to use towards printing your calendar. Head over to the thread to get started!
The Desktop Challenge for September is still going on until the 15th; this month's challenge is to focus on something that you are excited for, it could be something coming up or something in the past. There's a little calendar stamp to download for your desktop in the thread but it's not required. For this challenge you will receive 10 points as well as an extra 5 points if you use 90% or more of any current STS products. Here's one by Christie & she used Freshly by This Little Missy.
Have you ever wanted to participate in the Forum Blog Train? Then head on over to the thread to put in your submission. This month's theme is Mystery Machine (AKA Scooby Doo!). There are already a lot of great submissions, please read through the All Aboard thread carefully for instructions; if there are any questions, you can ask them in the thread. You are welcome to design your own contribution to earn 10 points or use someone else's kit to create a quick page & earn 5 points; however, you must post your preview by September 25 at 11:59 PM MST to earn the points.
Heading into the weekly challenges again, the Word of the Week Challenge runs from Sunday, September 4 to Saturday, September 10; this week's word is Sunshine. Post your layouts in this week's WOW thread by Saturday night to earn your points. Remember that to earn the bonus points, you need to complete each week's challenge for the entire month, you can find the WOW rules & point tracking thread right here. Here's a cute one called Case by Katherine; she used Enjoy Life by MDK Scraps.
The Challenge of the Week Challenge runs from Sunday, September 4 to Saturday, September 10 & is a template challenge. Head to this week's COW thread to download the template; make sure to post your layout by Saturday night to earn your points. Remember that to earn the bonus points, you need to complete each week's challenge for the entire month, you can find the COW rules & point tracking thread right here. On the left we have Scrappin by Cori Whatever kit by Adriana's Cafe; on the right is Splash by Michele who used Havin' A Splash by Scrappin' Serenity.
This week's Featured Designer Challenge is brought to you Misty AKA Designs by Snowlady & will run from Monday, September 5 to Sunday, September 11. She's offering a new kit, Rivets and Robots, as the participation prize; but you must post a layout in this week's thread by next Sunday night to earn it.
