It's time for our last new feature on the blog but this one's going to be short & sweet today. Typically on Thursdays, I'll be posting information about the different challenges going on during the month but since today is the 1st of the month, all the challenges are new! Whoot!

If you just can't wait to see what some of the new challenges are, head over to Challenge Roundup where our wonderful Sheri posts a thread each month listing all the challenges; you're welcome to reply to the thread to keep track of the points you've earned but it's not required. Here's a quick roundup of the challenges that are ongoing, next week I'll be featuring several challenges along with some of the layouts that have been submitted!

Each month you'll find a new Desktop Calendar Challenge, it's a little different from the other challenges as it runs from the 15th to the 15th of each month. Each designer who hosts the challenge will offer a calendar to use in your layout but use of the calendar is optional. The September challenge is being hosted by Manda Lane Scraps & she's decided that this month's desktops should be focused on something that you're excited for. There are a lot of different ways to interpret the challenge, you could be excited about the first day of school, a new addition to the family, or even the start of fall!

A quick recap of the weekly challenges: First, the Word of the Week Challenge is running until Saturday, September 3. This week's word is Learn; post your layouts in this week's WOW thread by Saturday night to earn your points.

Next is the Challenge of the Week Challenge is running until Saturday, September 3. This challenge is an Out of Bounds challenge. Check this week's COW thread more information & to post your layouts.

Finally, the Featured Designer Challenge runs through Sunday, September 4 & is being hosted this week by Tracy of Growing Pains Scrapped. Layouts need to be posted in the current week's thread to earn the participation prize.

Don't forget that when you earn 500 points, you'll receive a $5.00 gift card to the Stuff to Scrap store to purchase anything that catches your fancy. Points roll over from month to moth & do not expire!
