Meet B2N2 Scraps!

Let's start with the basics:
Name:
Becky Weidner
Username at Stuff to Scrap: Becky22
Blog Address: http://b2n2scraps.blogspot.com/
Store: B2N2 Scraps

Now that you know which designer we're talking to, let's learn a little more about them and family comes first:
Husband:
Brian, married for 8 years
Kids: Natalie and Noah, 18 month old twins
Pets: nope!

Here's a picture of my family. It's really old. I don't think I have a more current one! It's hard to take pictures with 18 month old twins. My son doesn't like to pose for pictures. This was taken almost a year ago (Yikes! I better take some new ones).

What do you like doing with your family?
We love to go places that are good for our kids like the zoo, children's museums, etc. My husband and I love to play board games with our families after the kids go to bed!

It's an alternate universe and your computer won't turn on for an entire week, what do you do with yourself?
Funny you should ask, I just went through 2 days with my external hard drive and that was AWFUL! I would panic and not know what to do. My house would probably be cleaner and more organized!

Alright, the computer's all better - let's talk digi-scrapping for a few minutes.

When did you start designing and how did you learn?
I started designing by doing the forum blog trains at Stuff to Scrap. I think my first one was in March of this year. I learned by just fiddling around with things on my own. I've read a couple tutorials, asked other designers some questions and I'm still learning!

What program/programs do you use to design?
I use Photoshop Elements 7

Where do you get your inspiration?
I get a lot of inspiration from my kids' clothes, toys, blankets and fabric. I just look around my world and eventually something pops out at me!

How did you pick your digi-scrap name?
My husband's name is Brian so before we had kids, I would sign cards and such "B squared." When we had our twins and named them Natalie and Noah, I started signing things "B squared N Squared." Well Photoshop doesn't have a superscript option with the text so my design name became B2N2. I added scraps to the end because when I came up with the name I wasn't sure if I would start designing :)

What’s your favorite kit that you've designed?
That's really tough! I like all the kits I've designed that are currently in my store. I think my favorite is "Let's Go Fly a Kite" because of it's colors.

Alright, this is a hard one, but what's your least favorite?
That's hard too! Probably one of the first blog trains that I did. Maybe the Because I Said So one.
Describe yourself in one word:
Caring

Share a secret with us, what's something that not everyone knows about you?
Ummm...Hmmm...I'm thinking! Oh here's something not too exciting. In order to get anything done around the house, I have to have a schedule. Monday is laundry day, Tuesday is clean the bathrooms, Wednesday is pay the bills, Thursday is wash the floors and Friday is catch up day. I know it's nerdy but if I didn't do that, nothing would ever get done and I'd spend all my time on my computer! I also have a menu postedin the kitchen so I know what to cook every day.

If I said you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Oh this is a really, really tough question! My husband and I love to travel and went on so many cool trips before we had kids. Now we're limited in where we can go. But if there were no restrictions, I would probably say Egypt but really I would go on a world tour if that was possible!

What is your favorite food?
Chocolate But a really good steak comes in a very close second, especially if it has a parmesean crust on it.

Do you collect anything?
Besides digital scrapbooking kits? LOL. I collect nativity scenes. I started when I was either in preschool or kindergarten. I have over 200 scenes from around the world. I love seeing what my family finds for me!

What is your favorite TV show?
I don't watch too much TV but when I do I like Chuck. I love funny, quirky spy shows and movies.

What is your favorite color?
Red

Alright, thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself and welcome to Stuff to Scrap!
