Please Meet...Scrappin' Serenity!! :)

Let's start with the basics:
Name: Christie Bowien
Username at Stuff to Scrap: christiedawn
Blog Address: http://scrappinserenity.blogspot.com/
Store: http://stufftoscrap.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=46

Now that you know which designer we're talking to, let's learn a little more about them and family comes first:
Husband: Michael, married nearly 4 ½ wonderful years!
Kids: Haylie, who is 3, and Hunter, who will be 2 in June.
Pets: 1 doggie Max (he's a beagle mix, we got him from the shelter nearly a year ago)
What do you like doing with your family? Anything and everything...my family is the center of my universe! Without them I would be completely lost!

It's an alternate universe and you're computer won't turn on for an entire week, what do you do with yourself? Scream, Cry, and throw a Hissy fit!! lol. No, my house would probably be completely spotless and completely organized!

Alright, the computer's all better - let's talk digi-scrapping for a few minutes.

When did you start designing and how did you learn? Once STS put out their very first blog train, I knew then that I wanted to be able to contribute something to it. So, I dived right in. I did a little research, found some tutorials, and asked some of my CT bosses questions.

What program/programs do you use to design? I design and scrap in PSE 7. My hubby got me PSE 8 for Christmas but I’m too chicken to transfer over (I have a fear of losing all my styles! J )

Where do you get your inspiration? Anything and everything! Music, movies, everyday life, my kids’ toys, and clothing. I must say a child’s wardrobe almost always has an excellent color palette!

How did you pick your digi-scrap name? Digi-Scrapping has always been a calming, release of tension at the end of the day thing for me. So, Scrappin’ Serenity just seemed to fit (and because I’m in the south, I of course had to drop the “g” and add the ‘ )

What’s your favorite kit that you've designed? Generally my favorite kit, is the kit I’m working on at the moment. But I guess if I HAVE to choose a favorite…right now it would be my freebie kit “Twitterpated.”

Alright, this is a hard one, but what's your least favorite? That IS a hard one. I’m going to say one of the first few blog train mini’s I did. I think the name of it was “A Mother’s Moment.”

Describe yourself in one word: Daydreamer

Share a secret with us, what's something that not everyone knows about you? Geez..this is a hard one, I’m always so open with everyone about everything!! I guess the digi scrappin’ world doesn’t know that I used to play the Tuba when I was in high school!
(here's some proof...a pic from the christmas parade my senior year of high school)

If I said you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Honestly….I have no idea! There’s so many places I’ve never been that I would like to go…like Paris, Rome, and Greece. But I would be perfectly content just resting my bum on a blanket on a beach in Alabama!
What is your favorite food? Anything! I’m a fatty…what can I say?! I love any and all pastas and Mexican food, but you can never go wrong with meat & potatoes!
Do you collect anything? Besides digi scrappin’ stuff…not really. Although, while watching the movers pack up the house, I realized I had quite a lot of and a various assortment of vases! I don’t know why though…it’s not like I hardly ever get flowers!
What is your favorite TV show? I’m a TV junkie, I’ll admit it! We watch entirely TOO much tv! I love Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Flash Forward, American Idol, and Greek to name a few!
What is your favorite color? I guess hunter green…I dunno that I really have a favorite, it usually just various with my mood.
Alright, thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself and welcome to Stuff to Scrap!

As a special gift I have put my entire store on sale for 25% off for the entire week...so go shopping and get you some goodies!! I also have the cute mini kit freebie for you!
