A Warm Cup of Cocoa

Hi all, it's Shauna here and let me tell you baby it's cold outside...and I'm not just singing Christmas carols. Not sure what the weather is where you are, but it is cold here in Texas, we even had snow last week...and that is not normal. Now what is funny is the cold weather made me want hot cocoa, and what happens to be the name of the kit Tracy from Growing Pains Scrapped asked me to use this month...well it is A Warm Cup of Cocoa. I love this kit. I've made three layouts already and have some many more planned. As you can see from the photo below, it is packed with lots of fun and cute elements, and the colors are so warm and inviting.

The first layout I did, I really wanted to use the cute blanket element, and just so happens I had a photo of my niece and her dog that I thought would work great. I love the warm browns in the kit.

The next layout I wanted to show the wonderful peach papers in the kit, and when I spotted the bear element, I thought immediately of my own snuggle bear and a layout was born (hehehe poetic license).

The last layout is of my sister, and I want to show the yellows in the kit, but also more of the fun elements. I'm really blessed my sister makes me a cup of coffee and leaves it on my bedside table every morning as she leaves for work, so I wake up to a great cup of coffee.

I just barely touched on all of the sweet elements of this kit. I am already thinking of other pages to do as well as other things, like bake sale signs and such to use it. I suggest you head over to the store today and get your copy of A Warm Cup of Cocoa.
