Meet The Designer Digi-designs by Nicole

A recent picture from our family trip to Yellowstone National Park.

Let's start with the basics:

Name: Nicole Parker
Username at Stuff to Scrap: neparker
Blog Address: http://digi-designs.blogspot.com/
Store: Digi-designs by Nicole

Now that you know which designer we're talking too, lets learn a little more about them and family comes first:

Husband: Devin
Kids: Brayden (9), Madison (6), Chloe (almost 2)
Pets: Chico (Chorkie), Kitty (Siamiese Mix)

What do you like doing with your family? Anything as long as we are together! BUT, some of my favorite things are going on vacations with them, whether it's camping or just going to play mini golf.

It's an alternate universe and you're computer won't turn on for an entire week, what do you do with yourself? Finally Clean my house.

Alright, the computer's all better - let's talk digi-scrapping for a few minutes.

When did you start designing and how did you learn? I started designing in July 2008. I taught myself everything I know, and am still learning now. I saw some kits that were cute, and thought I could do that too, so I just did it.

What program/programs do you use to design? I started with PS7, but now I use CS4 Extended 64 bit.

Where do you get your inspiration? Clothing, Magazines, anything that has a fun color or pattern. I have many random cell phone pictures.

How did you pick your digi-scrap name? Well, Digi-designs, since that is what I'm doing, and my name. lol. Lame, so not original, but it stuck. To late to change it now.

What’s your favorite kit that you've designed? I really like my Little One kit. It's just so cute. Even though it is intended for baby pictures, it works so well with everything else.

Alright, this is a hard one, but what's your least favorite? I don't like my Remember mini kit very much. I was still new, and it was something I just put together for a few pictures I wanted to scrap.

Describe yourself in one word: Outgoing!

Share a secret with us, what's something that not everyone knows about you? I talk so much I bet everyone knows everything about me. lol. Um, when I was younger I wanted to be a geologist. I love to collect rocks, but... now I have given them all to my oldest for his collection.

If I said you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Anywhere warm. I would say Disney, because we love Disney, but we go there every year anyway. So, I would like to say, somewhere foreign. Maybe Italy.

What is your favorite food? I don't know if I have a favorite. I love steaks, I love pasta, especially alfredo, and I love Mexican. lol.

Do you collect anything? I do. I collect old coins, the state quarters, and foreign currency.

What is your favorite TV show? I like to watch lots of tv at night while cudding with my DH, after we have are tucked the kids into bed. I like Reaper, Chuck, and even shows like Desperate Housewives and CSI Miami.

What is your favorite color? I love white, but since that's not really a color, the next best thing would be purple.

And now what you've been waiting for... a freebie. It's a oldie, and maybe you already have it, but I do know we have a lot of newbie friends here at Stuff To Scrap, with that in mind, I am giving you all the Little One Mini kit add-on for FREE!

Click to download. Enjoy!

Nicole it is cool to see one of these on you. I can't wait to get together in person in July! Sounds like we have a lot in common as far as Disney, and I love collecting the state quarters and pennies. I had never done the others, but after my DH's grandfather passed away they gave us his coin collection. There are lots of cool other ones, so I guess we have a collection of them, but I don't actually COLLECT them...lol

Anyway, I think you are an awesome designer and I totally love your kits! :-)

Cool site! If you like Reaper, won't you help us save the show for a Season Three? Everything we're hearing is sounding GOOD for the syndication deal for Reaper Season 3. People have had very positive responses from CW affiliates they’ve written. Today we received word that two of the biggest Tribune-owned CW markets in Texas are interested, and since Tribune owns a boatload of affiliates, it’s thought if the Tribune stations come on board, Season 3 is a lock. If you’re concerned about how show creators Fazekas & Butters’ new contract at Fox will affect the show, or Tyler Labine’s new series, we have updates on that too.

We still need fans to show their support; we have about ONE WEEK to get across our love for this show! All links and details here: http://tinyurl.com/reaperlatest
