Now that you know which designer we're talking too, lets learn a little more about them and family comes first:

Husband: Devin
Kids: Lauren age 11 & Annalise age 3

What do you like doing with your family? We LOVE going to the beach. Unfortunately, it's not terribly close so we only get to go 4 or 5 times a year. We also love playing at the park, barbecuing, watching movies, and the girls and I love to SHOP!!

It's an alternate universe and you're computer won't turn on for an entire week, what do you do with yourself?
I would definitely catch up on everything I should be doing, but don't since I started designing. LOL!! Nah, it's not that bad! I definitely would do a little reading, I love to read! You'd certainly find me playing with the girls, whether it's outside on the tramp, playing at the sand table with Annalise, you know those types of things.

Alright, the computer's all better - let's talk digi-scrapping for a few minutes.

When did you start designing and how did you learn? I started designing a few months ago. Learn......I had a lot of help from Amber (Stolen Moments) and from Nicole (Digi-Designs by Nicole). This week I'm finishing up a designing course where you have to create everything from scratch, no commercial use items. This has been a huge help in that it's helped me to think outside the box.

What program/programs do you use to design? Currently I use Photoshop Elements 5.0. But, I have a goal of saving up my money so I can get Photoshop CS4.

Where do you get your inspiration? That's a really good question! Sometimes it takes a day or two for me to get into the groove. For one kit I based the design off of things my 11 year old is into (Peace, Love, Happiness). I look around and if something catches my eye, I go with it.

How did you pick your digi-scrap name? It's really a play off of my last name, which is Ladle--Like the soup ladle (I always say that to people because they look at me funny or they try pronouncing it wrong). There you have it! The secret is out!

What’s your favorite kit that you've designed? hmmmm.....that's a tough one. I don't know if I have a favorite. I really like a more recent kit of mine called Only In My Dreams. So, I guess we'll go with that one.

Alright, this is a hard one, but what's your least favorite? Another tough question.......I don't really dislike any of them. But if I had to pick one, it would probably be my first kit Cottage Chic. It's not that I hate this kit, I actually really love the colors, but I've learned so much since then that I now see what I would do differently if I were to re-create this kit. But I still like the kit, doesn't make much sense, I know!

Describe yourself in one word: Pleaser

Share a secret with us, what's something that not everyone knows about you? I am a dare-devil/thrill seeker of sorts. I have bungee jumped twice (once out of a crane with no padding underneath, not very smart), I would LOVE to go sky diving! I even had planned on graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice, actually took a few classes in this field. My intent was to be an undercover DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) Agent. Can't get much more thrilling than that! Instead, I got married and decided I wanted a family.

If I said you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I would LOVE to take my family to Hawaii, but just because they haven't been. If it were just me an my hubby, I would love to go to Germany and Austria, okay, we'll make it all of Europe!

What is your favorite food? Does Coke count as a food? If not, I'd say Mexican. But, I love a good Coke!!

Do you collect anything? Scrapbook Paper, buttons, and ribbon. Even though I don't paper scrap anymore, I'm addicted to it and find uses for it all the time, whether it's making a card, my daughters school projects (and even my neighbors school projects), or just a paper craft!

What is your favorite TV show? 24, I never miss an episode! I live through Jack Bauer! He may not be DEA, but how cool is his life saving the world from terrorists?!?! I also like The Office. Other than that I don't watch much T.V., unless you count Dora.

What is your favorite color? I LOVE Red! I love it so much that I just bought 2 gallons of paint and plan on painting my bedroom red! Exciting!
