Meet Eva Marina Scraps!

Let's start with the basics:
Name: Eva Marina, but my friends just call me Eva
Username at Stuff to Scrap: emarina
Blog Address: http://emarinascraps.blogspot.com/
Store: Soon to be Stuff To Scrap

Since Mother's Day is fast approaching I thought I'd share a picture of me with my mother.

Now that you know which designer we're talking too, lets learn a little more about them and family comes first:

Husband: Chris
Kids: Ignacio (2)
Pets: Maybe soon…

What do you like doing with your family? We love to go to the park and the library. We also enjoy going to my nephews’ sporting events.

It's an alternate universe and you're computer won't turn on for an entire week, what do you do with yourself? Catch up on my sleep!

Alright, the computer's all better - let's talk digi-scrapping for a few minutes.

When did you start designing and how did you learn? I started making random elements and papers to use in my layouts early this year, but I just made my first kit in March! I’m self taught… love to Google!

What program/programs do you use to design? Photoshop CS3

Where do you get your inspiration? Just by observing the world around me, sometimes it all starts by noticing a nice color. Magazines help a lot too.

How did you pick your digi-scrap name? It’s my name... original, huh?

What’s your favorite kit that you've designed? I’m loving my new kit “Out To Sea”, it’ll be released for Stuff To Scrap’s Grand Opening.

Alright, this is a hard one, but what's your least favorite? It’s not exactly a kit, but I designed everything I used in this layout. It was my first attempt at designing more than just an element or two… I think it’s a little bland.

Describe yourself in one word: Outgoing

Share a secret with us, what's something that not everyone knows about you? Well, it’s not really a secret… but here is a little more on me. I’m bilingual. Even though I was born in Milwaukee, WI English is technically my second language! I didn’t begin to learn English until I went to school.

If I said you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I would love to go to Spain and Portugal.

What is your favorite food? Anything my mother cooks, yum!

Do you collect anything? Yes, I collect foreign currency and digi-scrapping supplies!

What is your favorite TV show? My son and I are huge fans of Blue’s Clues!

What is your favorite color? I love earth tones… blues, tans and grays.

Alright, thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself and welcome to Stuff to Scrap!

As a thank you for reading my intro I made a Sneak Peek Freebie using my new “Out To Sea” kit. It’s a set of two Quick Pages, one 12x12 and another 8 ½ x11, and a 5x7 Brag Book page. If you like them, I have another set you can pick up for free on my blog. Download this set here.
