Countdown to Christmas ~ Day 2

Time to see what our second freebie for the month is, remember to keep coming back every day for the next piece. I've gotten to see them all & am dying to get my hands on all the great freebies, got some plans for 'em! Today's freebie comes to us from Christie of Scrappin' Serenity & here's two pictures of her family, one from 2006 & one from this year, aren't her kids adorable?

Here's a memory from Christie from their first Christmas with a little one.

"Our first Christmas (2007) as parents was quite a memorable one. We had been married nearly two years, and had just recently closed on our first house. So, we were in the process of trying to move, which of course is hard to do with a nearly 1 year old, and both of us working until 6 pm Monday-Friday. But I was determined to have Christmas in the new house. So for Christmas all we had at the house was our beds, the Christmas tree, and Haylie’s presents from Santa! I had even forgotten to buy groceries to make breakfast Christmas morning, that’s when we learned that small town Wal-Mart’s are closed on Christmas Morning…but Walgreens is not! But despite the fact that we had basically nothing in the house, we still had a great Christmas watching our kiddo enjoy her presents from Santa!"

Wonderful story Christie, so funny that Walgreens was open while Walmart was closed! Here's Christie's freebie a cute little mini kit, click on the preview to go to the store for the download. I see a couple of turtle doves flying outside, I think they are making a break for it!
